If their lives can serve as role models to young men who have been bullied or taught to think less of themselves for their sexual orientation, all the better. Jake Daniels


 At age 17, British soccer player Jake Daniels came out as gay (May 2022), becoming the UK's only male professional footballer to be publicly out at the time. He was praised by Prince William, who was then president of the Football Association.

When Daniels went public with his personal relationship with partner Mark Potts, there was a shocked response to the age difference. Potts is 28 years older than Daniels.

The couple still posts photos from their travels and activities. May Daniels have continued success on and off the field.
